Can I claim back on private health insurance?

Each and every health insurer has different levels of coverage with different conditions. While our supports are often successfully claimed back on by many of our customers, it changes depending on your insurance provider, and it's best to contact them and check your plan to see.

Bauerfeind's high quality construction and design mean that all of our products go the distance, especially when cared for properly. Below is a rough outline of how long products last before they start to lose their effectiveness over time.

Compression Stockings - 6 to 9 months of daily wear

Braces & supports - 1 to two years of daily wear

Insoles - 9 to 12 months of daily wear

It's important to note that this is a rough guideline, and each person's usage and general care can change the longevity of the product either way

Virtually all of our products can be machine washed on a cold gentle cycle and air dried out of direct sunlight. Putting them on and taking them off carefully is recommended, and for specific product care, refer to the product manual or contact our friendly staff.

All supports and insoles come with a 12 month warranty, and compression stockings with a 3 month warranty for any manufacturers faults. At any point if you've got issues with the product or aren't sure if something is wrong, just contact our helpful staff.
