Ankle Brace Post Surgery

Recovering after surgery on the ankle, whether it's for treating ligament damage, a bad fracture or even arthritis, can be a long and sometimes painful process. Wearing an ankle brace after surgery is an effective way of managing the various symptoms and issues that affect the joint, and can shorten your recovery time.

At Bauerfeind, we have a wide range of post-op ankle supports for any patient. From splints to sleeves and a mix of the two, we've got you, and your ankle, covered.

Why do I need a brace if I've already had surgery?

When it comes to physical injuries and issues, there's rarely a single fix. Even surgery involves rehab, exercise and proper follow up therapy to ensure its effectiveness. Using a medical brace clinically proven to be effective in improving rehab and recovery and alleviating pain in the ankle post-op means you've got the best chance of an effective long-term recovery.

It's important to note that this is a rough guideline, and each person's usage and general care can change the longevity of the product either way

What is the warranty for these products?

All supports and insoles come with a 12 month warranty, and compression stockings with a 3 month warranty for any manufacturers faults. At any point if you've got issues with the product or aren't sure if something is wrong, just contact our helpful staff.
