EDS Braces

Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS) is a connective tissue disorder that manifests in a wide and varying range of symptoms for each person affected. While each individual has their own set of symptoms and issues (known as co-morbidities), the majority of people affected have some main symptoms in common.

Hypermobility, skin elasticity and digestive issues affect most people with EDS, most commonly causing joints like the ankles, knees, hips, shoulders and wrists to hyperextend, dislocate or subluxate at the slightest of movements or pressures.

Wearing an EDS support is one of the better ways to protect yourself day to day to keep the joint from moving out of place. Combining this with physiotherapy and the other treatments being undertaken, EDS braces can make a huge difference for daily quality of life.
