Achilles is not just an iconic character from the Iliad, it's also one of the main tendons in your lower leg and ankle. It's responsible for guiding the foot in walking and running movement, stabilising your foot and regulating your gait. When your achilles tendon is injured, not only painful and debilitating, but it can be tricky to recover from.
Wearing an achilles tendon brace helps not only in relieving the pain caused by such issues, but also helps to speed up recovery and correct your gait through muscle stability and support.
When treating an Achilles injury, there's a few different ways to address the issue, depending on how yours has been affected.
- Reducing strain on the tendon itself with a heel lift/cushion.
- Using targeted gel support at the base of the tendon around the heel.
- Using extensive massage support across the tendon and surrounding muscles.
- Using medical grade compression to increase blood flow and speed up healing.
If you are still having problems figuring out which one is for you, then give us a call or email and we'll help you out.

It's important to note that this is a rough guideline, and each person's usage and general care can change the longevity of the product either way
