Rugby Knee Braces

Rugby is a tough sport, both mentally and physically. Requiring endurance, stamina, strength and agility, it can be gruelling on the body, especially the knees. Wearing a rugby knee support helps both on and off the field, alleviating pain, boosting mobility and performance as well as reducing the risk of injury.

Bauerfeind have pioneered knee braces across the world, and protection for the joint is synonymous with their name. If you're looking for a rugby knee brace, then Bauerfeind are the very best.

Can I wear these all day or just when I play?
Most of our sports line is designed for wear during active movement rather than all day, while our main range (products ending in "Train" or "Loc") are better suited for injury management and all day wear, whether it's sports, exercise, work or just chores around the house. If you're unsure if the support you're looking at is ideal for all day wear, just contact our friendly staff.
Can I still move properly in these?
These supports are designed to allow for regular range of movement while stabilising the joint and preventing injury. This means you can confidently move in pivots, sudden changes of direction, jumps and landing as well as quick steps and positioning.
Will these overheat?
Bauerfeind's range of supports are made from an ultra-breathable cotton/elastic weave that's perfect for active use of any level. Clinically shown to vent heat more effectively than any other support, it's perfect for air-flow, temperature regulation and comfort.
How do I take care of these products?
Wash the compression braces on a gentle cycle, at a low temperature, and then allow them to air-dry. Ideally, the garments should be washed in a delicates wash-bag. Clothes dryers should be avoided as the high temperatures can damage the fabric and grade of compression. For hard braces, hand-wash in cool water and allow to air-dry. Putting them on and taking them off carefully is recommended, and for specific product care, refer to the product manual or contact our friendly staff.
How do I know they'll fit?

The perfect anatomic fit system we use means that the supports are designed to fit your body, not the other way around."}]}]}
Will these change how I play?
While any kind of brace or support will have an affect on your physical movement, it's in a positive sense. More stability in the joints and muscles, increased power with each movement and better balance mean that you'll move more effectively. It may take a little bit of adjustment with some supports that have rigid components, but long-term there should only be an improvement in your form.
How do these help me while I'm playing rugby?
Rugby is one of the toughest sports physically, putting stress and strain on your joints, muscles and ligaments. Bauerfeind's supports have been proven time and again in treating and managing existing injury as well as preventing and protecting from further injury.
Do I have to have an injury to wear these?

While there are a wide range of products to manage injury (the \"Train\" and \"Loc\" range), the sports line is perfect for helping you to get more out of each movement, not only enhancing your exercise for better results, but helping protect you from injury."}]}]}
