Getting your compression stockings on can be tricky at the best of times. Even for the strongest and most nimble of fingers. But whether you've got arthritic fingers, weaker muscles or afraid of ripping your stocking with your nails, there's plenty to help.
With a range of compression stocking aids to help donning and doffing compression stockings of any class, you're set for ease of use at home or on the road.
From gliders that make it easier to slip the compressive stocking over your foot and ankle to special grip gloves that easily move the stocking without putting pressure on the fabric, we've provided quick solutions to make donning easier for those who have any trouble with it.
Some people have no issues at all putting on compression stockings. However, medical-grade compression can be tricky for most, which is how it's supposed to be. Strong compression is worth the effort. If you find the daily task of donning stockings is made harder by arthritis, low mobility or weakness in the muscles, they can make your life a lot easier.
All our open toe stockings come with a small donning aid, and all stockings have clear donning and doffing instructions. To keep the standard costs down so that high quality compression is accessible to as many people as possible, we've separated what isn't necessary but still helpful.
Virtually all of our products can be machine washed on a cold gentle cycle and air dried out of direct sunlight. Putting them on and taking them off carefully is recommended, and for specific product care, refer to the product manual or contact our friendly staff.
All supports and insoles come with a 12 month warranty, and compression stockings with a 3 month warranty for any manufacturers faults. At any point if you've got issues with the product or aren't sure if something is wrong, just contact our helpful staff.
Bauerfeind have an incredibly extensive sizing system for our products based off of hundreds of thousands of patient measurements. The perfect anatomic fit system we use means that the supports are designed to fit your body, not the other way around. (We also offer custom options for a range of our products for those rare few who still can't fit into our sizing range).
