Shoulder Tendonitis Brace

Tendonitis occurs when the tendons that run along from bone to muscle become aggravated and inflamed, causing pain, discomfort and swelling each time the joint is moved. When this happens in the shoulder, virtually any movement of the arm causes pain. Rest can help, along with physio, but for many of us, we don't have luxury of waiting patiently at home for it to heal.

Taking care of yourself with a shoulder tendonitis support is one of the best ways to keep going while relieving your pain. At Bauerfeind, we have refined this support, targeting the most commonly affected part of the shoulder, the rotator cuff. With our German-engineered design and manufacture, you've got a shoulder brace for rotator cuff tendonitis that actually works.

How do I relieve tendonitis in the shoulder apart from the brace?

Resting the joint, having targeted massage by a qualified therapist, icing the area and reducing strain on the arm all work to relieve tendonitis, and this is amplified and assisted by Bauerfeind's range of shoulder supports that mean you can still do life day to day without pain.

How long do they last?

Bauerfeind's high quality construction and design mean that all of our products go the distance, especially when cared for properly. Below is a rough outline of how long products last before they start to lose their effectiveness over time.

Compression Stockings - 6 to 9 months of daily wear

Braces & supports - 1 to two years of daily wear

Insoles - 9 to 12 months of daily wear

It's important to note that this is a rough guideline, and each person's usage and general care can change the longevity of the product either way

How do I take care of these products?

Virtually all of our products can be machine washed on a cold gentle cycle and air dried out of direct sunlight. Putting them on and taking them off carefully is recommended, and for specific product care, refer to the product manual or contact our friendly staff.

What is the warranty for these products?

All supports and insoles come with a 12 month warranty, and compression stockings with a 3 month warranty for any manufacturers faults. At any point if you've got issues with the product or aren't sure if something is wrong, just contact our helpful staff.

How do I know they'll fit?

Bauerfeind have an incredibly extensive sizing system for our products based off of hundreds of thousands of patient measurements. The perfect anatomic fit system we use means that the supports are designed to fit your body, not the other way around. (We also offer custom options for a range of our products for those rare few who still can't fit into our sizing range).
