ITB Syndrome Braces

The ITB (iliotibial band) is a stretch of muscle and connective tissue that runs from your hip down your leg, acting to stabilise and support the leg, particularly the knee joint, helping to guide your movement. When this band becomes strained and inflamed, most often due to running, jumping and cycling, it can lead to an issue known as ITB syndrome.

When you're affected by this, wearing an ITBS knee brace can help to alleviate the pain and discomfort, and help the muscle to properly recover and heal. While specialised physiotherapy can treat the issue well, pairing this with an IT band knee brace is the best way to care for your ITB.

Can I wear these all day or just when I exercise?
Most of our sports line is designed for wear during active movement rather than all day, while our main range (products ending in "Train" or "Loc") are better suited for injury management and all day wear, whether it's sports, exercise, work or just chores around the house. How do I take care of these products?
Virtually all of our products can be machine washed on a cold gentle cycle and air dried out of direct sunlight. Putting them on and taking them off carefully is recommended, and for specific product care, refer to the product manual or contact our friendly staff.
