How to choose the right arm brace?
Once you feel pain in your elbow or wrist it is vital to find the cause of the problem. The main cause behind elbow pain and wrist pain is due to repetitive use straining the muscles and ligaments of the elbow and wrist joint.
Many professions such as gardeners, construction workers, drivers, cleaners, firemen are at a high risk of an elbow injury. Elite athletes are also at risk of overuse elbow injuries such as tennis elbow and golfer's elbow.
Usually, a physiotherapist gives advice on whether or not an elbow or wrist brace is required to treat the injury. It is important to get on top of these issues as soon as they arise to avoid further muscle imbalance, weakness or a progression in the injury.
If you feel arm pain or have been recommended and elbow brace or a wrist brace as a part of your treatment, choosing the right brace is key to a speedier rehabilitation journey and reduction in pain.
Choosing the right brace will give you peace of mind while you engage in your favorite sport or everyday activity. Take a look at our table below to find the best ankle brace for your medical condition.
