Measure the circumference of your leg 17 cm above the centre of your knee (A) with your knee bent at 30 degrees.

Step 2

Measure the circumference of your leg 15 cm below the centre of your knee (B) with your knee bent at 30 degrees.

Description

The GenuTrain OA provides immediate and lasting relief from arthritic pain in the knee, even in chronic and severe cases. It unloads the medial or lateral compartment to create instant relief by minimising joint contact. Lightweight and easy to put on and off, it's perfect for all day wear, support while you exercise or just relaxing at home.

The GenuTrain OA is ideal for moderate to severe arthritis, repeated meniscus injuries and joint pain. With the BOA tension system you have complete control over how much you unload the joint, down to the millimetre. As instant pain relief on the go, it's an arthritic knee's best friend.

How is this different to the SecuTec OA?

The GenuTrain OA fits comfortably under clothes, and is made from a lightweight fabric and construction to target a particular side of the knee to unload and relieve pain from OA, meniscus issues and more. The SecuTec OA is a fully rigid brace that is for advanced OA, Varus/Valgus issues and other problems.

How does this brace unload the knee?

The GenuTrain OA utilises something known as the "3 point principle". By taking pressure off the joint from abov and below and pulling that to a central point, it eases pressure on one part of the knee while avoiding adding the strain anywhere else.

The brace looks bulky, will it fit under clothing?

The GenuTrain OA uses an anatomical fit and slim construction to comfortably fit under most pants.

Can I wear this all day long?

This brace is perfect for all-day wear to minimise pain and provide comfort in all levels of activity and lifestyle.

Good but

I Ordered a left and right Genutrain OA Knee Brace i have reasonably severe osteo arthritis in both knees

The right Brace i have received has been good been using it about two weeks and it has relieved my discomfort significantly the reason im putting 4 stars and not 5 is upon opening the package for left brace

i discovered they had sent me another right one and whilst the service department sent me the paperwork to return promptly after i supplied photos. I just feel a little put out that i wont receive a replacement until the incorrect one has been received which so far Australia Post have had 10 days and still not delivered. Maybe im being a bit unreasonable but it was not my error and i feel they should have sent replacement immediately. Also upon packaging neither brace received was in plastic inside theyre boxes which just left me feeling a little uneasy as to my mind it meant id been sent ex display stock or maybe someone elses returns. Anyway as previously stated i am happy with right brace and look forward to receiving replacement left brace soon.
