MalleoLoc L3 Ankle Brace

I purchased this brace as after 9 months of pain, following rolling my ankle and snapping off the end of my fibula 10 months ago and injuring three ligaments. I found out about the ligaments when I asked for a MRI 4 months later due to constant pain, and another 9 months later.

Being quite active and no longer a spring chicken, the bone break has not healed, and I am in constant discomfort.

I am awaiting a specialist appointment.

I spend most days on a property where the ground is uneven.

Since I started using the brace, my pain level has decreased, and I am more confident walking in the paddocks as it restricts the rolling of my foot. Walking around is comfortable, but just sitting is not as comfortable.

I wish I had looked into and started using this brace after the moon boot. My outcome may have been much different.

I called the supplier and, I was recommended the above brace.

I fractured my Webber A and no surgery was needed.

I used the complete above brace a few times.

It’s very supportive.

I’m travelling overseas 6 weeks out from the fracture where I find the compression sleeve by itself is good enough. It does reduce swelling.

I threw the mon boot away at week two after sustaining a Webber A fibula fracture of the ankle. I replaced it with the Malleoloc Ankle Brace. The moon boot did not hug my ankle within the brace and cause further injury to the fracture.

I have used it in various ways as I transition through my recovery. My recovery has been fast considering I am 70 years old. I am at week 4 1/2 and walking in Brooks shoes using most of my weight on the foot with the crutches while only using the compression sock. I have no pain, no swelling and with better flexibility. I was taking a risk and I am glad I did. When I go in for my 6 week X-ray, I will be in runners while everyone else will still be in their bulky moon boots.
