Measure the circumference of your wrist at its narrowest point (1).

Measure the circumference of you thumb at its narrowest point (2).

Step 4
Select the correct size using the size chart. RhizoLoc should feel snug and firm but not constrictive.

Product Details

Getting pain relief from thumb pain, whether it's arthritis, tendinitis or a fracture, is super simple with the RhizoLoc Thumb Stabiliser. With a slim anatomically shaped design that makes it perfect for work, sports and exercise, the RhizoLoc is the thumb splint for those who want to focus on the good things in life.

Comprised from a malleable aluminium splint that contours across the joint to provide maximum stability, the RhizoLoc is there when you need it to take away the pain and keep your hand doing its job.

Features:

  • Individually Adaptable Aluminium Stay: Stabilises the thumb saddle and metacarpophalangeal joint. This allows for optimal healing of the affected collateral ligaments.
  • Special Velcro Tab: Can be adjusted in order to limit the movement of the metacarpophalangeal joint and to immobilise it as treatment requires.

Life-Changing Support for Hand Pain

I recently discovered that I’ve lost cartilage in both hands, particularly in my STT joints, which has caused significant discomfort. After trying various products with little relief, I purchased the RhizoLoc Thumb Stabiliser for both my left and right hands — and it has been a game changer. The support it provides is incredible. I wear it both at the gym and around the house, and it’s made a huge difference in managing my pain and maintaining functionality. Rhizoloc is not a title one would search for a Thumb Stabiliser

The product is very well made and fits well providing good thumb stability, whilst still allowing good function.

Surpassed what I expected

I have made many purchases from baurefeind and even my doctor bought a knee brace for his 92 yo father in law and is impressed. I bought the thumb stabiliser after have used the wrist support for the past 18 moths. Much better support for my arthritic thumb (broken 3 times, and broken scarfoid). You can’t beat it. Please work on a unit for 2 torn rotator cuffs in one. Cheers. Mark
