Measure the upper circumference of your leg 14 cm above centre of your knee (A) with the knee bent 30 degrees.

Step 2

Measure the lower circumference of your leg 12 cm below centre of your knee (B) with your knee bent at 30 degrees.

The GenuTrain S Pro Hinged Knee support is the perfect brace for restoring stability after a knee injury, relieving arthritic pain or preventing hyperextension. Designed to be the next step up from the GenuTrain S, the Pro has the option to block flexion of the knee at 30, 60 & 90 degrees, as well as 20 degrees extension.

The GenuTrain S Pro Hinged Knee Support is ideal for recovery from ligament injuries including your ACL, MCL or PCL, post reconstruction, meniscus tears or moderate arthritis, the lightweight hinged support keeps you stable in even the most active of movements.

The GenuTrain S Pro Hinged Knee Support uses a breathable compression weave to promote blood-flow and speed up healing, while the anatomic hinges and adjustable straps allow for completely controlled stability in any activity.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why do I need to restrict my flexion?

When recovering from ligament issues, whether it's surgery or physiotherapy, limiting the flexion (how far the knee can bend back) allows the ligament to recover properly, taking strain and stress off the injury. The extension blocker is also helpful for more serious cases of hyperextension.

What is the difference between this and the GenuTrain S Hinged Knee Brace?

While both products use the same core design and features, the GenuTrain S Pro takes it one step further, incorporating a series of removable clockers at set angles for the knee in both extension and flexion, so that it can be used to recover from ligament injuries in the knee without the need for a larger more extensive brace.

Can I still play sports while wearing this?

You certainly can! With a breathable weave, lightweight design and strong build, it's perfect for those who want to keep moving but protect the ligaments where it matters.

Knee support after surgery

This knee support is fantastic. After recent surgery on a ruptured patella tendon this support has been really good to wear during rehab and at work. It was so easy to get the measurements using the tutorials provided. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.
