How the NDIS supports Australians

Any Australian resident who has a permanent and significant disability, or who needs support to ensure they’re okay for the future, will likely be eligible for NDIS support. The service provides access to a wide range of resources which assist with daily life while empowering people with disabilities to live more independent and enriching lives.

There are an estimated 4.3 million people in Australia with a disability, with approximately 500,000 of them currently on the NDIS. Among the range of services that the NDIS provide, braces, supports, compression garments and insoles all are covered under the plan system to assist people directly and indirectly.
