The MalleoTrain Plus comes left or right foot specific, and is able to shape to your foot perfectly. It also contains two unique gel inserts that sit on either side of the ankle.
The anatomic gel pads are shaped to cup the base of the ankle, providing extra support and massage relief to the areas most commonly affected by swelling and pain.
The viscoelastic construction of these pads mean that you get an effective shock reduction on the ankle in addition to pain and swelling management.
Adjustable figure-eight strap
Built in to the MalleoTrain Plus is a fully adjustable figure eight strap. Designed to emulate the same stability as physio taping, with a variable tension according to your needs.
This works by using a two-part construction.
The first part of the strap is a strong elastic that can be pulled to provide a high range of stability, while the second part is a static strap that can’t be moved once it’s on, meaning the tension won’t change over the day.
The flexible and simple design make sit perfect for wearing inside your shoes on the sports field or all day at work.
Flat-knit weave
The MalleoTrain Plus uses a special flat-knit weave that’s patented by Bauerfeind across their braces and supports.
This is a special cotton wound over elastic fibres in a special type of weave that allows for completely targeted compression. This enables the support to provide the perfect amount of muscle activation at each part of the foot while stabilising and supporting the joint itself.
The firm yet lightweight fabric works to get blood flowing into the core of the joint and muscles to speed up healing and boost flexibility and comfort.
